All about Christie Page

A little about who I am. My passion is computers; I enjoy learning more about them each day. I enjoy watching and participating in sports, currently I am playing golf. Or I should say I am the course, Salmon Creek, new landscaper, although each week I seem to get a little better. Phew.... The summer of 2004 brought many changes to my life see my page under LUPUS. I enjoy music and can vary from country to alternative, favorite instrument is the Grand Piano. When I first got on the Internet, around 1986, I used to believe I was addicted to the Internet, I found it then and now fascinating on all avenues. You simply push a button and start to travel. Now a days, its my children who find more time to surf the net than I. It's fun to watch them learn and to grow. I truly believe the Internet has so very much to offer anyone at any level of computer knowledge.

One thing about the "net" and or "cyber" is you can hide behind a name, a description, a personality, that isn't for me, I know who I am and what I represent, I even know who I want to be when I grow up and every day I get closer to that person. Life is not a destination but a journey.

I enjoy teaching and tutoring people, currently I am an instructor at a at a local high school within its continuing education program. I have also written course material for some of the courses I have taught. I also teach/tutor people on how to use computers both mechanically (you know the hardware stuff) and the programs you use (this stuff is like how to paint a picture and how to find the spell check). I enjoy exploring the new ways of doing things, and my favorite, how to save time doing them.

I had fun August 2000, I was the co-chair for the Susan B. Anthony, 19th Amendment Historic Suffrage Parade. (You know this amendment, it gave women the right to vote!!!!) It went off like clockwork and everyone had fun. Every year this takes place around August 26th,look for this event in 2001. I'm co-chairing the event again and I know its going to better than this past year.

I enjoy life and laughter and enjoy sharing them continually. I enjoy asking questions and having questions asked of me. Whenever I get stuck there's always my computer friends and or gurus... I also enjoy practical jokes and regular jokes, got any that I can share send them to me?

Enjoy life and live each day to its fullest because you never know if tomorrow will ever show up. This is me, Christie, and friends, with the world in front of me and all my goals ahead of me, life is just beginning!
