John and my thoughts and memories
This was the hardest day of my life May 4, 2002.  Saying good-bye to my hero, friend and father.  He gave us all so very much and I thought and prayed he would live forever.   The hole in my heart is wide open right now.  I know time will heal but he will always be sitting in his chair listening to the scanner, or watching the cars go bye, or traveling to visit my brother and fishing off the docks.  Yes, saying good-bye is the hardest thing I have ever done.  What a truly lonely feeling it is.  I thank God for my family and friends who are with me supporting me.  I may be an orphan but with the family that surrounds me both in spirit and in life I'm not alone.  Thank you to everyone......
